Why Eliza Woodlands Believes Strength Is the Most Practical Form of Self-Care
I’m Eliza, the owner of FAYV Fitness. My life is rooted in family, gratitude, and making the most of the present. I’ve learned that life rarely follows a straight path, but with resilience and purpose, it’s possible to grow through every challenge.

At eight years old, I was diagnosed with
Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Years later, the long-term effects of treatment caught up with my body, and I realized simply getting through life wasn’t enough. I wanted to rebuild my health, not just cope with what I’d lost, so I committed to the work and rebuilt strength from the inside out through learning, discipline, and persistence.

Today, my daughter Halle is my daily motivation. She lives with
Cerebral Palsy and relies on me to be strong, capable, and present. She reminds me every day that health isn’t optional - it’s the foundation that makes everything else possible.
